Another way I rescue tarot cards is by using them to make tarot collages:  a mixed media art form. You can check it out here. 

The specific tarot image inspires the design, such as the color palette that I use for the wooden housing. The cut-out is placed in its new home. Then I varnish it all. On the backside I attach a hook so the image can be hung, but it can also stand by itself. The title of the piece as well as information on the card deck can be found on the backside of the work. Each collage is a unique piece!
